Set up structures in the lattice that force the Photons to go where you want them to.
Try not to wait for the Photon and react to it, or you won’t have enough time. You must play offensively rather than defensively to win.
Try to Vert the second Node ahead of the Photon rather than the one directly ahead. This gives you more time to think.
Protect your back
When a Photon is docked, press one of the last two Nodes it passed. This will prevent other newly generated Photons from following the same path.
When both Power Nodes in a corner are filled, close the VertNode at that corner. This will prevent other Photons from colliding into them.
After a photon disintegrates, be sure to open any corners that have two filled Nodes. Otherwise, the Photons will collide into each other when they are agitated.
Reversing direction
Use the BumperNodes to reverse the direction of a Photon if necessary. You can also reverse the direction by changing the configuration of the Laser Lattice.

If you have a 19" (or larger) monitor with hardware pan & zoom, zoom in to 200% and enjoy Verttice full screen! For an extra twist, try it while zoomed in to 400% with hardware pan working.
